What does it measure?

HCV Ac. Totals
It is called an “antibody test” and is performed to measure the presence of antibodies released in the blood of Hepatitis C, in order to diagnose this disease.

HBc IgM / IgG
It is very likely that the Hepatitis B is transmitted from the mother to the baby during pregnancy or delivery. It is therefore very important to know the immunization status for this disease through the analysis of IgG and IgM to take adequate actions to reduce the risk of infection for the baby.

HBs Antibodies
This test is performed to detect the presence of positive Hepatitis B antibodies. In this way, the disease can be diagnosed and possible damage to the baby can be prevented, since a mother who tests positive can transmit this disease to her child.

HIV I-II
It consists of a test to detect and differentiate antibodies against types 1 and 2 of the human immunodeficiency virus, called HIV-1 and HIV-2 through a blood sample.

RPR-Syphilis
It is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacteria that remains in the body of the infected person. If not treated in time, it can cause serious health consequences.

Karyotype
The karyotype is an analysis that allows us to study the shape of the chromosomes of human formations destined to detect congenital and acquired diseases.

HBs Ag
It is a blood test to diagnose hepatitis B. All pregnant women should carry out the hepatitis B diagnostic test, since if this disease is positive it can be transmitted to the baby.

Blood Group and RH Factor
The blood group is determined by the characteristics present in the red blood cells and serum that make up the blood. For its part, Rh is a type of protein that may or may not be present in the blood. If it is, we will be Rh positive while its absence is Rh negative. Rh positive is the most frequent.

Blood count
The CBC is a part of the blood test that gives us the count of red, white and platelet cells.
